Auxiliary Ships

These ships are a part of the Local Defense and Miscellaneous Support Forces.

Ships within this category consist of an active Auxiliary Research Submarine (AGSS 555) class ship, the entire Patrol Coastal (PC 1) class, and selected Coastal Minehunter (MHC 51) class ships. From the MSC, Naval Fleet Auxiliary Force are selected Ocean Surveillance (AGOS 1) class ships. In addition, there are ships in the Maritime Administration (MARAD) fleet which are both titled in the Navy and MARAD-assigned to MARAD's Ready Reserve Force (RRF).
